Changing hover effect in Template design

Hello, first poster here.

I recently purchased the SOMETHING template for my website, and I’m adapting colorprofiles etc to the brand. But for some reason I can’t seem to change the hover effect on the “link block used as a button” symbol. I select the button, I go to the hover attribute and change the color (to red), but it still uses the original color (violet)…

Also, I can see that there is a color transition associated with the hover, but I can’t figure out where the animation of the text (moving to the right a couple of pixels) is defined!

Hope someone can help with this.

Hi @esbengroendal,

Welcome to the forum! Hope I can help with this one.

These hover effects are being changed through the Interactions tab, make sure you’re on the Button element.

You can delete the ‘Move’ action to remove the shifting animation - just make sure you delete the action on the ‘On hover out’ interaction as well:

If you’re new to Interactions, I’d recommend having a look at this article to understand Triggers & Actions: Intro to Interactions | Webflow University

Hope this helps!
