Changes Disappear After Saving – Not Persisting Across Sessions

Hi everyone,

Since last week, I’ve been experiencing a really frustrating issue: Webflow says my changes are saved (the save indicator confirms it), and I can even publish the site with those changes. But when I open the Designer the next day o refresh it — all my changes are gone. It’s like they were never saved.

Here’s what I’ve already ruled out:

  • My internet connection is stable.
  • I’m not using the Editor or Designer in another tab.

This is seriously slowing down my work since I keep having to redo everything. Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas or help from the Webflow team would be greatly appreciated!

Definitely contact support. However, another user posted about this recently.

He said that it was able to resolve once he did a manual backup in the designer, after that the saves occurred normally.

Hey! I tried doing a manual backup in the Designer like Michael suggested, and that seems to have fixed the problem. My changes are saving normally now.

If it happens again, I’ll definitely report it with a support ticket.
