Can't edit navbar links in the Editor

I’m currently experiencing an issue with a client site:
Getting ready to show my client how to edit the site but I’m running into what could be a big issue.
When in the editor I’m unable to edit/change text of the links in the navbar and footer.

Can anyone help??

Did anyone ever help you with this or did you manage to figure it out? I think I have a similar issue
