Background video, not playing in absolute positioned div

HI,

Can someone please help me? I am trying to get the video to play using the video-background, but the video is not showing up. I am putting it in an absolute div because I eventually want the video to fade out and show the still image behind it.

it seems to be working for me. I’m using Chrome on Mac. Can you share a loom.com screen recording of what you are seeing?

I just came here to add I fixed it - I had to add a z-index to the video to bring it to the top. Thank you for responding!
