Background video alternatives on mobile

So i’ve seen it’s impossible to show a background video on mobile devices (right?), but, is it possible to show the first image as background even if it doesn’t move? Or select another image? For my website it only shows a random image

Background videos work fine for me on mobile.

You could try compressing your video, it’s quite large. I’d aim for 200/300kb

If that doesn’t work I’d personally replace it with an image; overall that’s better practice anyway!
