My publishing times are pushing 1 - 2 hours. I can only publish after many attempts. I manage our in-house site and have cleared out unused styles, fully optimized all images etc and deleted any unused pages etc. It went from 5 - 10 minute publishing times to being lucky if I can get it to publish at all during a workday. I’ve cleared the stinking cache, published through the site settings etc etc. This platform has become unusable for us. I shudder to think that people use this to manage a large client list. Who do I invoice for lost time?
No problems on my sites, and nothing on https://status.webflow.com/ have you contacted support?
I went the through the help list. I’ve contacted support for the same issue in the past and at least got it to publish but honestly publishing has stunk for the last 2 years. I’ll get into some live support tomorrow and go from there I guess. I used to think 10 minutes was bad but this is nutty. Since the last time we had issues the site has only gotten more optimized and cleaned up. I’ll see what human at Webflow has to say this time tomorrow and post results here. Almost out of time today.
That’s a weird situation, I’ve never seen more than 1-2 minutes max on a bad day, except of course during active incidents.
I’d be suspicious of your machine, network, router, VPN, something that’s interfering and slowing things down. I’d try from a laptop, on a different network, etc. I’d also try using a VPN through another country to see if there is improvement- if you’re e.g. in Germany you might see reverse firewalls that affect performance on international traffic.
If none of those make a difference, than it sounds like something with your site specifically. I’d try cloning it, and publish that clone to staging and see if that’s fast.
