When I publish my site and go to the actual link, the thumbnail image of my portfolio do not fill the whole space. When I preview it in the designer, everything looks fine.

I see that “.grid-6” has a max width of 1600px. Might be causing your issue? (I can’t test it. Webflow won’t let me assign a width to this element for some reason, even after I remove the max with setting)
You can also try setting your work block link element to 100% width.
