Website messed up in safari but perfectly fine in chrome

Hi Ziyad,

I opened in safari and firefox and it looks exactly the same in both, however considerably slow in Safari.

I might be wrong, but noticed you are possibly using an old vertical marquee template in the courses page, I once used the same resource and it slowed the performance of my website, it is old code.

If this is the case, I recommend upgrading to another marquee template Native Marquees - Webflow This one is great!

Also make sure your images are optimized size and weight size. Hope that helps, sorry if it didn’t.
Cheers!

Hey. Thank you so much, it was very useful. Is there a way to upgrade to another template without starting all over from the ground?

Hi there,

Glad I helped, I can only suggest are two options:

  • to recreate each section with the right structure, work with reusable components as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pj5D-I8vkyQ&t=225s After you recreate them you can go to the class tab (little three drops on left menu) and click on the little brush icon, to delete all classes that won’t be used anymore… this way you’ll have a clean structure that follows your vision! It’s a learning curve, don’t be so hard on yourself, you can always keep learning and update the site :)

  • To go to webflow’s community and clone a project you like Best Cloneable Websites | Free Examples & Designs - Webflow the issue with this is that you would need to change it entirely towards a style you like.

Cheers!
