Using Video.js player and connecting to CMS

Hello!

This is my first time posting here, and I am new to Webflow so thanks for your help and patience!

I am trying to use Webflow to replicate the video interactivity of this reference site that uses Video.js.

  1. What is the best way to incorporate the Video.js player and carousel into Webflow?
  2. Is it possible to manage videos from this player in the CMS?

  1. By putting embed html element inside collection page (or list)
    Custom code | Webflow University

And add plugin assets (js/css)

  1. Yes. Add url feild for video source and bind this feild to video src html (you should host huge videos outside webflow)

One workaround for this, which is also easier to maintain and has direct links to each video, is something like this https://chromista.webflow.io/director/eddie-alcazar

I have the same problem with video interactivity as you. Please let me know, did the Video.js solution help you? Which plugin did you choose (more than 200 plug-ins on their site)?

I actually wasn’t able to find the right solution, and the project I was working on ended up falling through so unfortunately I don’t have a great answer for you. Sorry!
