Using icons in a web page

Hello,

This may be a rookie question, but I see the use of icons in elements like sliders etc…How can I use icons in a page? Is this something you just implement with html, or is there a way to do with with the elements?

The easiest way I’ve found is to upload an icon font like Material Icons or FontAwesome…
