Trouble with Page Transition Effect across browsers

Hello all,

I have been trying to implement the page transition effect as described here. It’s the slide over one:) Webflow workshop #114 https://webflow.com/workshop/creating-a-page-transition-effect

I have implemented the jquery code in the site footer, and I have managed to get the CSS interaction working within the interaction preview. What I’ve found is that on the published site in Google chrome the effect is rushed and glitchy. The jquery is set to 1000 (I think this is the time delay), and the interaction is the same. In Safari, it doesn’t work at all.

I’ve applied it to the about link in the navigation/about page transition.

Any thoughts on how to get this working reliably - 1. It is in the correct timing and not glitchy 2. It works across browsers?

Many thanks,

Andy

P.S. you need to go to the page called home in the side menu. Thank you

I have this exact issue:

Did you figure out what the issue was?

Sorry Dan, I clearly disappeared from here after posting. Hope you found a solution. I seemed to have managed to find one at this end, or I gave up and accepted glitchy! Lol
