Trigger css transition on an element by hovering on its parent (wider in surface than the child)

Hi,
If you check my link, this is what I’m trying to achieve on the first bottle from the left:

When I hover on the link block containing the bottle, two things should happen:

  1. the bottle gets bigger

  2. the text block at the bottom (‘scopri’) has a transition applied to it indirectly as a result of a hover interaction applied to its parent — this transition involves properties such as letter-spacing which can’t be affected directly by the hover interaction

Is this achievable?
