Too much white space above image in blog post (CMS Collection > Article)

Continuing the discussion from Large spacing between copy and images on blog posts:

I saw a few related posts, but didn’t find an answer.

For my blog, every time I insert an image into the post, a large block of white space appears above the image. The spacing appears correct in the CMS:

But not on the article page, even when previewed or published:

I’ve tried every combination of image setting/format/position in the CMS (Full width, Centered, Normal, Float, etc), and nothing helps.

Here’s a read-only link.

Can anyone help here please?!

Hey there,

This can have a very easy solution, but to figure it out was a pain.

Since it is rich text, be careful about the how many times you press the key ‘enter’ since it will read as a blank space because it is rich text.

Set the cursor after the colon and press ‘Supr’ to delete the enters after it, the enter that are between that line and the image, it can sounds crazy because the image is just above it, but when we copy paste into a rich text there are enters hidden behind.

Thanks Juan, but even forward deleting didn’t work. I had to look up ‘Supr’, especially for a Mac, and came across the “command” key as well as fn+delete. The latter worked for forward delete, but again there was only one extra space/enter there, so it didn’t remove any white space above the image.

Any other ideas / anyone else can help?
