Text Wont Change on Hover

I know this has been answered before, and I’ve looked at all of those and tried their fixes and cannot figure it out on my particular example. Can someone please help me me?

On the style guide page I have a black button with white text for its “none” state. When I hover, i want the background to change to white and the text to change to black. Am i missing a setting?? The background color change works fine. It’s just the text that wont change.

Hey Kyle, I think you should apply the “Text Color” animation to your text block inside the button and not to the button itself. When you edit you animation, just click on your Text Block before clicking to “+” and choosing “Text Color”.
