How can I make the letter colour translucent and let the div with a pink colour from behind the text shine through ?

So if you take a look at the inspector on that site, you’ll see that it’s some white text with a pink block positioned above it, using a darken blend mode to add the colour to the text.
Yours is almost there, just need to increase the Z index on the pink div to more than your heading (I used 101) and set the blending mode to darken
