Tabs working in preview but not on published website

Hey community!

I designed my website 2 years ago and it worked perfectly. I didn’t change anyhting in these past years but I’m now facing an issue with the tabs under the navigation ‘Works’. They don’t seem to respond anymore and I’m unable to click them. I tried to find where the problem would be but don’t seem to figure it out. Could someone help me out by any chance?

Kind regards,
Clémence

Hi Clémence,

Here are some common solutions for tab-related issues in Webflow:

In the Designer, ensure that your Tab Links are properly connected to their corresponding Tab Panes through the Tabs Menu settings. Each Tab Link should have a matching Tab Pane with the same number.

For the published site, check that your Tab Links have the correct triggers and that your Tab Content is properly nested within the Tabs wrapper. Also verify that there are no custom interactions or animations that might interfere with the default tab functionality.

If you’re experiencing specific issues like tabs not switching or content not displaying correctly, try clearing your browser cache and checking for any custom code that might affect the tab behavior.

Hopefully this helps! If you still need assistance, please reply here so somebody from the community can help.

I can see you’ve republished yesterday, which is good, but for some reason it looks like Webflow.js is having an internal problem that’s causing it to fail.

It does appear to be tab-related, I’d probably drop a new tab element on the page, re-apply your classes and pull the existing content in, and then delete the old one to ensure it’s being probably constructed and not doing something strange with legacy code.
