TTFB on one of my sites is currently at 1.8 seconds - after a rather patronising reply from Webflow support which was filled with basic client-side optimisation steps that don’t even affect TTFB, I’ve commented out all external scripts and tested again in incognito, the issue persists.
High TTFB is a server response related issue that can only be caused by 2 things, DNS delays or underperforming servers. There’s several other posts on Webflow forums complaining about this, including a response from Webflow’s CEO several years ago about a rendering issue.
This isn’t good enough from Webflow - will come back with their next response if I think it can help the community.
