Slider with collection list

Right now I have 3 collection lists for my blog on my home page. I would like to have a slider with several collection lists on the home page. How can I do that or is it possible?

You can see where I added a 4th favorite blog and it put it below instead of on the second slide. Ideally I would like to have 2 slides with 3 collection lists (blogs) on each slide.

Hello @creativeclicks,

Can you share your read only link?

I’m sorry. I thought I did. Here you are… https://preview.webflow.com/preview/mycreativepixel-site?utm_medium=preview_link&utm_source=dashboard&utm_content=mycreativepixel-site&preview=e0c17831c3a566972dc7505cc765aec1&mode=preview

It may not even be possible to have a CMS slider without a third party app.

Hello @creativeclicks,

Yes it is possible to have a slider with collection lists on it. All you have to do is to add the cms element to each slide content tab and then limit the number of cms items displayed on each tab. I did a quick video of what you need to add to a slider to make it work. https://www.loom.com/share/688591ad44814e0abbdd96f9399d894b Let me know if you have any questions.

Great! And thank you for making a video. I appreciate that. When I click on the link it says “page does not exist” Can you check that out?

Yes sorry, I deleted the video from my files by accident, here is a new one Loom | Free Screen & Video Recording Software | Loom it will show you how to built the slider with your cms, then you can style it to fit your brand. I hope it helps.

Your welcome @creativeclicks, I’m glad I was able to help you.

Hi Pablo.

Are you able to help me with this since you helped me before. I’m writing another blog and the publish date isn’t showing.

Hello @creativeclicks,

Did you publish the post yet, because the cms field is set to published date, so the date will not show until you actually publish the post on your live site. Let me know.
