Hello,
Here’s the read-only link to my project: https://preview.webflow.com/preview/123-f7ffc7?utm_medium=preview_link&utm_source=dashboard&utm_content=123-f7ffc7&preview=c1a460a63b2b885c1993dd44149c44c4&mode=preview
I am trying to recreate this following example and I am stuck in making the slider:
Here is what I’ve done so far:
Here’s its preview:
The setting in both slides are:
Choosing “Contain” instead of Cover doesn’t fix anything and even if it did, it would make the images too small and not like the Buscemi example I am trying to recreate.
Not even the cropped images show up in Preview mode.
I did manage to do make more progress by inserting an Image element into a slide, but then I watched the Webflow tutorial on Slider and they do it by adding a photo as the Background Image of a slide, so I am trying to learn doing it the “right” way.
I watched the Webflow tutorial again and again and I can’t find information that will help me make my slide behave the way you see in that Buscemi example.
What I want to do is have the width of the image of a slide extend as far as possible (so that it’s as big as possible) while remaining inside the limits of its parent Div block (which takes up 50% of the screen’s width and 100% of VH.)
So, what am I doing wrong?
Thank you,
Panos
