Scaling video background

I have a video portfolio template and it’s all looking great, but as I have a mix of 16:9 and letterboxed background videos, they dont all quite match. Su I’m just a little stuck on being able to scale (or similar) the letterboxed videos just a little so I can make use of the border radius’s I see on the 16:9 videos. basically so they all have matching rounded corners. Much appreciate any feedback

Hey @JasHunter and welcome to the community!

I’d recommend just scaling everything up a bit so that the most extreme ratios show the rounded corners — meaning the 16:9 videos would be slightly zoomed/cropped.

Outside of that, you could theoretically add a toggle field to for wider ratios that you can flip on to selectively style just those videos enough to fit within the 16:9 ratio you have for everything else. The downside here is that if there are multiple different ratios you’d need to either account for the “widest” ratio, or do something like change the toggle to a dropdown that styles the image zoom scale based on the image ratio.

Thanks Mike, could do. I haven’t really been able to find the right control to scale all to be honest. any leads again appreciated. will investigate the toggle field too. a little bit of a stretch for the brain but will try
