My client is experiencing very bad performance issues on scroll with Safari. I have tried almost everything from re-publishing, exporting and optimizing the Lottie files to deleting every interaction and re-adding them. Anyone got any ideas or maybe I should contact Webflow directly?
I’m seeing two pretty huge Lottie files (11.2mb & 3.2mb) along with two images over 1mb in size:
I’d look into some other (custom) methods to accomplish the two scrolling animation sections (like scrubbing a video file for example—this is how Apple tends to create these effects) and use smaller image files with compression. I’d imagine those two changes will probably give your client better performance and also improve page load speed.
