Safari not displaying avif images

Hello everyone,
I converted all the images of a project to AVIF and it was all fun and games until I opened the staging site in Safari on a mac. Images don’t appear at all. I opened the same site using Safari on an iPhone and the images appear.

Does desktop Safari support AVIF at all? Do I have to re-export and upload all images in WebP? Is there any workaround?

Yes, Safari supports AVIF fully as of 16.4
