Rotation on hover effect problem

Hello all,

I wanted to re-create a rotation on hover effect like this website https://thierry-emmery.webflow.io/

I manage to do it but I have the following problem:

  1. If I hover on the menu the focus is lost resetting the rotation which I don’t want. To solve this I put the text container with more z-index than the menu so it kind of works now but I can’t click the menu now. In the example provided the rotation effect never reset even if you scroll way down.

Any solution for making everything work but also make the rotation not reset?
