Publishing to webflow domain

hi all, I have a question: when you publish site on webflow domain, will the root domain end in .webflow.io? any way to not show “webflow”? just .io?
my client doesn’t have a custom domain so he opted for webflow domain.

Yes, when you publish your site on Webflow’s free domain, it will end in .webflow.io (e.g., yoursite.webflow.io). Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to remove “webflow” from the domain name when using Webflow’s free hosting. To have a custom domain without “webflow” in it, like just .io, your client would need to purchase a custom domain and connect it to Webflow.

If your client is okay with a small cost, they can buy a custom domain from a domain registrar (like GoDaddy or Google Domains) and then connect it to Webflow. This will give them a more professional-looking URL without “webflow” in it.
