I don’t know if this is what you’re trying to do, but you can’t copy a CMS anything from a CMS site to another. Collections, items etc aren’t copied over. Maybe if you first recreate the structure and data (at least the structure, meaning names and compositions of colections), then you can copy CMS things. I haven’t tried.
