Password Protection in ECommerce

Hi all, I’m trying to password protect a section of my online shop. I see that I can password-protect a page where that separate section of shop is located, but

  1. it seems that individual products could still be accessed without a password as I can’t see password protection options at that level.

Also

  1. Although ordinary collection pages can be password protected, I can’t see how to password protect a ecommerce category page.

Any ideas on how to proceed?
