Hey all,
Here’s a picture of what I’m trying to achieve:
I DID do my research, and I’m aware of previous threads on these forums regarding grid offsets. However, it seems that the solution involves custom code and media queries. I’m afraid my understanding of code is null (and I’m honestly quite intimidated by the prospect and worried about accidentally breaking my site), so I’m hoping somebody might be able to boil it down to a completely idiot-proof step-by-step for me?
I’m aware of these threads and links:
Hi all,
I have been wrecking my head for the past couple of days on a problem when I have added a grid to my Collection List.
Currently, all the list items appear in a linear fashion across the grid - as it is supposed to do. What I would like to achieve is to position each grid-children/list item with its own grid-column-start/end & grid-row-start/end.
However, I can’t seem to work out how how do I specify the grid-column-start, grid-column-end, grid-row-start, grid-row-end to each child wi…
Hi guys. I’m building a collection list with projects on display. I thought maybe a combo of flex and grids would be the best way, but I wonder what would be the best practice to get vertical offset on the different collection items? See my attached screen from Figma. [ofset_cms_item_blocks]
I do not think this is a good practice when it comes to user friendliness for the client: Dynamic Grid Item Offset
Any other solution I welcome.
Thanks in advance.
Hope it all made sense

Afternoon all, im not sure if I am being silly, but does anyone know how to add a css attribute such as top-padding to every second dynamic item?
I have a grid where I have added a top padding of 20px on every odd item, but I cannot recreated this with dynamic collections.
Im trying to get the same offset result on dynamic grids and Im sure I’m missing something obvious
