I’m finishing up a project for a client and can’t seem to figure out why the homepage (mobile) can slide left and right. I have the overflow on the body clicked to “hidden”.

You have set specific heights for elements, when you design in desktop view you have to consider that the content you’re adding will behave differently in mobile view so if you set a height for your section on desktop that height can’t be the same in mobile.
Remember that the styles you use on your project on desktop view cascade down to mobile.
