Need help creating down arrow border for sections

Hello,

I need some help creating a section break or divider. I need a div block that can sit on top of a section, and overlay on the section above to create a down arrow bottom border. In a very messy way, I was able to slant two div blocks toward each other, and it works OKAY for small to medium screens. But on larger monitors the background on the section above begins to “peek” through on the far corners. Is there a way to create a div block that can sit on top of a section, to create the effect of a down arrow? See screenshots.
