Navbar Background Color

My navbar has a different color background on my live site versus the webflow. it appears to have a grey default color, but what I want it for it to be 100% transparent. Please see attached screenshots for reference.

Hello @MODBrian

Here’s a screen record where you can see how I’m changing the nav BG > https://www.useloom.com/share/b258dfec3a9f4458979581332833b94d

Webflow adds a default #ddd color to the nav bar element

If you need more help feel free to ask

Piter,

Thanks for the very helpful and thorough response. I actually had it set to transparent originally when I posted the issue I was having. I’m assuming you were on the page after I had done some tinkering and had resorted to a temporary fix of changing the color to “hero grey” to match the color of the hero section below it. For some reason even when its set to transparent it still shows up with the default grey after its published, even though everything looks correct in the editor.

Thanks again for taking the time to help.
