I am still struggling to get each portfolio item to show the multi-reference option on the portfolio thumbnails (see screenshot with tagline highlighted).

Also, can’t get the multi-reference categories to show within the portfolio pages either.

Hello @jdn

This feature is not currently supported natively by Webflow. The only way that you can show multireference data is when you’re in the CMS item page.
