I am looking into using Webflow as a solution for a site which has a medium sized DB with 30 tables (cms collections) but with plenty of many to many relationship between them. This is possible in webflow as I understand it using the patter below?
Use an xref (or link table) pattern.
Collection 1
Collection 2
Xref is a collection which contains two single-refs one to Collection 1
, one to Collection 2
.
The problem with this is Webflows commercial positioning… even at the ENTERPRISE level, Webflow restricts paying customers to 40 CMS Collections. This is far too restrictive. Even a medium sized DB which wants to implement many to many collections in this way is easily going to exceed that. Why is Webflows CMS Collection restriction so tight?
