Localization errors with Components and Properties - Can't update Properties nor unlink Components

I have a component created before localization was released.

My main locale is Spanish. When I try to update the componen properties on a secondary Locale (English) I can’t find all the Properties. Video here: https://youtu.be/QEj-JrHHKsY

So I tried to unlink the Component on my main locale, but still the component is unlinked from my secondary locale. Video here: https://youtu.be/0y86T2NYHCY

The most strange thing is that there is no issue with my third locale (Portuguese)

Come on Webflow! 3 months have passed an this has not been solved. You shouldn’t have released Localization just to have this many problems.

Hey @MarkMeyer — Joshua here from the Webflow Support Team. Sorry to hear about this. If you haven’t already, could you please send us a ticket at support.webflow.com and our Tech Support team can take a look at this for you!

I have the same problem. Any learnings / tips on that bug?

In general, I recall that you can often go to the locale, right click the component and de-localize it.

This will clear the “snapshot” of the component, structure, etc in that local, and you’ll then have the normal site-wide component.

Then you can localize it from there.
