Is it possible to affect box shadow colour via mouse click interactions?

Unfortuantely to my understanding you can’t affect drop-shadows with interactions. I’m sure there is some custom code that could work.

Alternatively you could maybe hack this together with a box that sits under the element (control this with the Z-index).

The box can have a fill colour (eg red) and then the blur pumped up. This basically imitates the drop shadow and the fill colour can be edited with interactions.

Does that make sense? It’s probably not the best way to do this but I think it’s possible
