ive searched around and cannot find an answer to how to get a box shadow to appear when an element is clicked? does anyone know how to achieve this, seems simple but i cannot fathom it.
You can stack two divs. Bottom div has a shadow that utilizes a show/hide property.
You can also bypass the interaction and apply the shadow to the hover/click state but not sure how you intended the shadow to be used.
i appreciate the response, it seems to happen whenever i ask a question i find out the answer, i believe this is easier and will help you more than stacking divs
if you know how to get rid of the light colour automatically added to search bars, please let me know
