Implementing grid lines for background of website

Hi webflowers!

I’m trying to create a background grid effect for my website where all the lines appear faintly behind the content.

I’m curious to know if anyone has done this? I’m experimenting right now with either svg background image for entire body, or showing grid lines in grid layout mode but not sure if either are the best way to go about this.

Is there any reason why border width can’t go below 1px?

Hi Duncan. Did you ever proceed with those beautiful background lines? I’m trying to accomplish something similar
