I can’t upload images larger than 500x800 pixels in the CMS. I have hundreds of other images I have uploaded in the past that are much larger than this. It just suddenly stopped letting me upload high quality images through the CMS or replacing any existing images with new ones of the same quality.
This is mostly an issue for blog posts which is making the image on the actual post very grainy but the icon image looks fine.
Check your settings on that CMS field to see if you’ve restricted it to 500x800.
Otherwise, there’s no limit on dimensions that I’m aware of, only the 4MB file size limitation.
