I bought a template and it has social share buttons on the blog pages already. But when I click on them, nothing happens. Can someone give me some advice here please. I’m kind of lost

No one can see your site without your readonly designer link.
That said many template designs have UX pieces that you’ll need to build out and wire up yourself.
Check out Finsweet’s social sharing buttons for some tools you might be able to apply here, depending on what you’re trying to do.
