How to make transparent text with outline without loads of code?

Hi there

I am having an issue trying to make some text that is transparent in the middle with a thick black outline. a bit like whats on this website http://music-2019.webflow.io/

anyone have any ideas how i can do it??

Well, depending on your needs you may even go with the outlined svg and call it a day. If you need it as a text, well, you can try any of the solutions here. Post which worked for you best so that other people may find it useful!
