Hey Dmitry, I was wondering about that. I’m guessing you’ve used a standard webflow navigation set to open on hover.
Yes I can see how that would be a bit touchy as a sidebar navigation. You might turn off the open on hover, so that at least they don’t flicker open and closed. But you’d want to change stylng etc. so it’s obvious to click.
I don’t personally know of any scripts that force the menu open, but you’re not the first to tackle this. A quick search came up with these;
Another option, which you may not love, is to replace that side menu with a more traditional sidebar navigation, or perhaps an accordion menu. It will be less “jumpy” but you’d also have to code your own “you are here” current item selection & highlighting.
