How to delete the placeholder text in a text area when clicked

Hi, I have a regular contact form in my website with 4 text fields and one text area.
Each area/field have a place holder text (Name, Phone, Zip, Emai…)
When you click inside the field/area to type - nothing happens.
Only when you start typing in the field/area the place holder text disappears.
I am trying to make the place holder text disappear once you click the field/area, and not only after you start typing.
Couldn’t find it in the settings. Is it possible?
