How to create filters for CMS content and arrange it inside a drop-down list?

Hello!

How do you create filters for CMS content and arrange them in a drop-down list? I need to create a CMS filter by three categories: 1) Early joining date; 2) Late joining date; 3) Sort by newest. Earlier I somehow managed to make everything work as intended, but now it is somehow broken and I can’t find a workaround.

From your description you’re not filtering, you’re sorting.
The most popular approach to this is probably Finsweet CMS Sort + Finsweet CMS Load.
