How to change colour on hover

Just to clarify, I’m 100% completely new to Webflow/websites and this really is like, day 2 stuff, so apologies for my utter ignorance.

I am essentially just adapting a template , and having designed (visually) in photoshop my entire website. -I’m ready to go. I am however running into problems as I recreate from my Photoshop reference.

First thing is, I’m hoping to change the colour of a hover-over on my text in my work page. On hover, changes from black…to white. But I need it to be green. Any tutorial I find is quite unhelpful and any colour changes I make result in the colour starting green, and staying green.

All this is quite irritating as I say I have designed my entire site pretty much in Photoshop - anyone I suspect with a basic grasp of webflow could have my entire site done in a couple of days…

Any help welcomed… Marcus

hi @marcusroony changing colours of anything on hover is very basic and simple. Once you will finish at least Webflow 101 on Webflow University to learn how to work with this platform all will be easier for you. Having come basics of HTML and CSS will be beneficial.

not sure about this statement as there is many comprehensive written or video tutorials on the web starting with WFU.

Good luck on your journey

I suppose what I was referring to was the specific problem I’m running into is not solved by any tutorial I find. Thank you for your reply though!
