I faced with an issue: I need put hover text on pics inside of Lightbox but I cannot find how to do it 'cause I cannot find that elements in navigator (see screenshot) for applying Hover state.
I suspect that this issue is my case but the link posted by @cyberdave is inaviable (403 page).

Unfortunately, that topic was about hover text on thumbnail, it is impossible to add hover text INSIDE generic lightbox widget.
But you can create your own lightbox, it is not hard and there you can add whatever you want. Here is a great tutorial:
