Hero Section - Image Cut Off & Slide Up Content

Hi All,

Sorry if I am asking a dumb question. I am trying to change the layout of my site to be full width as the original is quite boxy but its not going well! :slight_smile:

  1. Any ideas on why the hero image getting cut off? I can not figure out why.

  2. Also I am having trouble replicating a slide up content as per this demo.

    When I do fixed and then fill it the image goes into the header :confounded:

Anything obvious that I am missing?

PS I did not build the original and this is a copy that I have taken to play with.

Hi Mark,

The hero image is getting cut off because it’s set to cover the whole div. To accomplish that it needs to cut off the rest of the image.

You could adjust the image’s placement with these controls:

As for the demo link. Were you talking about the slide up content over hero demo? If so, if you want the header to be fixed i’d recommend you to put the image to fixed in the image settings rather than the position settings.
