Hero/Banner Section on Phone

Does anyone know a way around the phones (at least on android) address bar, which disappears similar to a navbar when scrolled beyond 100% of the page? The issue I have with it is on a scrolling page, the banner/hero section which is set to 100% Height shift’s the height of the phones browser address bar when it decides to disappear, causing the entire body of the site to shift to readjust to 100%. It’s quite jarring and appears unprofessional.

I usually do a fixed height for mobile for that reason, choosing the native height for iPhones instead of 100%. There may be some custom code options out there to fix this behavior though.
