Hello! I’m having a seemingly very basic issue adjusting Quick Stack layouts for different screen widths. View a Quick Stack element on the About > History page.
When I try to adjust the parent’s column sizes on smaller screen widths, it will not let me decrease the column sizes. I’ve also adjusted the cell spans to allow for the decrease but it will not let me increase or decrease spans. Vice versa order and I’ve had the same result.
I’m seriously stumped–I’ve watched tutorials and also somewhat recreated the issue on a blank site. Thank you for your advice in advance!
If you start with the GRID element, instead of the Quick Stack element, it works. I still wasn’t able to go below 2 columns, BUT, you can then change the display to Flex - column flow. So that’s work around this quick stack bug. It’s just tedious to copy and paste rebuild the grid from your previous quick stack.
Hey, I was stuck like you and I found a solution from the official webflow tutorial, you can set the cells (the childrens of the quick stacks) to take more or less row or column !
I ran into the exact same problem! Quick Stack feels like a half-baked feature to me The whole point of Quick Stack is to be …quick… but I’m now spending so much time fixing the mobile version
