Can anyone help me with this? I’m attempting to create a clickable portfolio gallery that opens into its own Lightbox gallery while still retaining CMS functionality.
I’ve recently acquired a template from Webflow:
Template Link - Leap - Photography HTML5 Responsive Website Template
Sample Live Page - https://leap-template.webflow.io/
On the “Gallery” page, there are various categories with thumbnail images under each category, all of which correspond to a CMS link. Upon clicking one of the thumbnails, the image expands, allowing navigation to other pictures. However, it only displays the same images that are already shown on the thumbnails.
What I’m aiming to do is incorporate this code or something similar:
But keep the same overall design and functionality as the “Gallery” page in the template. But when a project thumbnail is clicked it shows a light box with a gallery of images specific to that project.
I see that the functionality is possible because of the “Webflow Lightbox CMS with Image Gallery” functionality but in full transparency I know nothing about coding and i’m completely new to webflow and don’t know how to implement that code into the already existing template. Can anyone point me in the right direction on this?
