Gradient background moving on scroll

Does anyone know why the linear gradient background of a section would move on scroll? I can’t figure this out for the life of me.

The gradient doesn’t move, it’s underneath the section above which has a color background. So the more you scroll the more the separation between the two sections become obvious.

Thanks! Tbh not sure I completely understood the separation part of your answer, but I understood enough that I had to remove the color background in the above section :sweat_smile:
