Footer Copy Disappearing on published site

I am having an issue where the text in my footer disappears when I publish. It shows fine in the designer, and preview mode. Then when I publish and go to the front end of the site, the footer shows but with no text. I have removed all interactions on the footer and even rebuilt the footer component from scratch.

Any ideas as to why?
